A: Approximately 6-12 hours.
Q: What if I need or want to deliver at the hospital?
A: Both of our midwives are credentialed at Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee. We can provide all your prenatal care here at the birth center and when you go into labor we will meet you at the hospital and stay with you throughout your labor.
Q: What should I do if I get sick while I am pregnant?
A: Please, call our office anytime - (931)722-2229. Even in the middle of the night. Our answering service has the phone numbers of the midwife on call and she will answer any questions you have or if necessary she will meet you at the birth center and care for you.
Q: What happens if a problem is found during my pregnancy?
A: We have a network of doctors that we can use to provide direction for your care. Our fist line of consultation is our medical director and from there we contact the necessary specialist.
